I've been a AAA.
I've been a AA.
I've been at every level.
I have tons of friends and former teammates that I know
grind and they they struggle mentally they you know it was always a you know there might have been a mental roadblock somewhere or you know dealing with failure or the you know the pressures of the game like i said earlier everyone has a story and so you know and i certainly do too but like
yes, I'm going to share that side of me, but it's also like, if I can give guys an Avenue or a, um, a lane to open up and, and share their struggles and talk about it and hopefully heal their struggles, you know, that's, that's a huge goal of mine.
Um, you know, I thought I could do that through coaching.
Um, and then I was like, I don't really want to go through the same schedule that I did when I was playing and, and, you know, be away from my kids for eight months.
So, um,
Like I said, I know baseball.
I know pitching.
I know mechanics.
Part of my time at the White Sox, I almost felt like a coach.
I was really trying to help these young guys navigate the game and how to go about things.
And I could only do that because I learned from so many great legends and players that I played with.
But then, you know...
I actually decided to jump into content this past weekend, believe it or not.
Yeah, so I went to the MLBPA Career Summit.
And, man, they put out a great little session for us, a great weekend, tons of former players there, tons of stories shared, and tons of resources for us.
And as I sat through all that stuff, you know, the one thing that just kept like, you know, punching me in the brain was like, Hey man, like you've always been pretty funny.
