But the Atlantic is going to be very competitive moving forward.
And I'm still, despite saying that, pretty high on this Montreal team.
I think they should be positioned right there with most likely Florida heading into next season.
Yeah.
Well, I think it requires hiring front office executives like an Eric Tulsky who probably is better equipped to take a bigger picture view from a business perspective like that.
And so if you have that type of person making the personnel decisions, we probably will see more of that.
Maybe Carolina success.
is going to open the door for more of those types to get these types of jobs because it's still been pretty limited in that regard.
So, yeah, you'd like to think so.
I mean, we always talk about it being a copycat league, and so one of the things you take from Carolina's sustained success, really, this is a breakthrough for them, but they've been winning one or two rounds pretty much every year for a decade now under Rod Brindamore.
I think there's a lot of, like, very...
shrewd things to take from what they've done, and hopefully we do see that around.
Yeah, I guess...
The one thing that works in terms of under that environment, potentially, if teams are looking at what Carolina did, is they've been pretty aggressive in the trade market.
Obviously, there's been a lot of sort of reclamation projects, and they signed Nick Lailers with their cap space.
But you think back to how they set themselves up with the initial Marty Nages for Mikko Rantanen trade.
They get Taylor Hall as sort of a throw-in in that deal.
The Rantanen saga doesn't work out, of course.
But they sort of make lemonade out of it where they acquire Logan Stanko and extend him long term, use the first rounder Dallas gave them in that trade to acquire Keiondre Miller.
And so all of a sudden now, like they've constructed and kind of built around this team via the trade route.
