They did give Crosby for two years.

He's Crosby.

I mean, we'll see.

You know, Malkin played 56 games this year.

So I don't think any of those things are impossible to bridge, but you've got to get yourself in a room and see how everybody feels before you know for sure.

I'll take Malkin at his word that he wants to play, but I do think everybody here has to have a conversation and make sure they're all on the same page with,

where he plays, what's expected of him, and obviously what the salary and contract is going to look like.

But this was a really fun year in Pittsburgh.

And whenever you have a fun season, I tend to think these things can sort themselves out.

But overall, I just look at Dubas and I see him saying that we still have to get younger.

We still have to accumulate pieces.

Because sooner rather than later, all of these guys are going to be gone and we better be ready to handle it.

Well, the one thing I do feel very strongly about is that

Dubas had always made it clear in conversations with other teams that he was not going to just trade Carlson for the sake of it.

Like, he wasn't going to accept a bad deal or eat money that he thought was unnecessary or...

or like throw in sweeteners just to trade Eric Carlson.

He said, I am not doing any of that.

And I am only doing it if it makes sense.

And we should remember Carlson has a no move clause here.

He has say, okay.
