Just unbelievable.
And so I was in the process the last week of trying to get a hat to him through his friends, or maybe I could meet up with him, and I just feel awful that I wasn't able to get it to him.
That's the least of our concerns.

that he passed away Friday, two days after getting honoured, not necessarily honoured, but two days after we found out there's a move afoot to get a statue, you know, erected of him outside Queen's Park Arena, where he was in the public eye, just moments, seemingly moments before he passed away, way, way up north.

At 93 years old, he could teach us a lesson about how to enjoy life, about how to focus on one of the things he loves, the sport of hockey.
He was at everything, guys.
He was at NHL games.
He was at junior games.
He was at BCHL games, Giants games, everything.
He just loved the sport so much.
