93 years old, Don Sky.

Just unbelievable.

And so I was in the process the last week of trying to get a hat to him through his friends, or maybe I could meet up with him, and I just feel awful that I wasn't able to get it to him.

That's the least of our concerns.

Just the fact that –

that he passed away Friday, two days after getting honoured, not necessarily honoured, but two days after we found out there's a move afoot to get a statue, you know, erected of him outside Queen's Park Arena, where he was in the public eye, just moments, seemingly moments before he passed away, way, way up north.

I don't know if you guys know where Dees Lake is, but it's way up there.

And I just feel awful because he was so...

At 93 years old, he could teach us a lesson about how to enjoy life, about how to focus on one of the things he loves, the sport of hockey.

He was at everything, guys.

He was at NHL games.

He was at junior games.

He was at BCHL games, Giants games, everything.

He just loved the sport so much.

And you know what?

Despite his reputation, I mean, you see these things on YouTube that, man, those teams were tough and mean and

The first time I met him, I was kind of scared of him because I remember him as a kid, just throwing garbage cans on the ice.

It was just a crazy, really primal, entertaining situation with the Bruins in New West, at Queen's Park.

He was a really nice guy.

He wanted to talk to you.
