You know, we, we, we've talked in this show about guys being ready, staying ready.
So they ain't got to get ready.
And when the moment happens, they'll be ready last year.
When Malik Brown went out, that person who stepped up that had to be Pat Gogba, and he did.
He was a guy that we did not see for large stretches of the first half of the season, and he was ready when his time was there, and he took advantage of it.
I'm not saying that we don't know if Pat's going to be out for a while, but I want Darren Harris to get used to the fact that there's going to be a time where this team needs him to play 13 minutes, 15 minutes.
And for him to have a plus six advantage
for him to score a few points, for him to affect the game on defense and to be a part of some game-changing plays, we need him to be ready for that and to continue to be ready for that because you never know when that's going to be necessary and vital for this team's success.
And so I really like the fact that, again, knowing that he was going to get some increased playing time, making the most of that opportunity, filling up the stat sheet with not just statable things but unstatable things,
We need that from those guys off the bench, and that's why our bench outperformed Pitt's.
I know Pitt doesn't have much of a bench, but we outperformed them, and that's what we need.
We need our bench to produce in so many different ways so that when we do need to give the starters a rest, when Cam has to sit for five seconds, we should be able to continue the production that we've had.
And it was part of the long run that they had that spanned both halves.
He was a part of that, and he basically said, keep going.
I don't know.
I think you have to go by a case-by-case basis.
I don't know.
So here's why.
