Because the big question for Saturday is will Pat play?

Will he be ready to go?

It's as simple as that.

If Pat is ready to go, that eats up a lot of the potential minutes that he could get.

If he's not there, then yes, he's going to have to step up again in a way similar to what he did at Pitt.

So I'm looking at that, but I also just think the confidence needs to be there, and giving him run in the first and second half, I hope, will bring him that confidence.

Because you've talked about how vital his shooting could be if it's on.

Nobody shoots a shot quicker.

Right.

Then he does.

And if it's going in, that is a terror for defenses to try and figure out.

And the fact that if he's coming in the game, he can open up so much floor just by being there.

Right.

Because people are going to see him as the guy.

Oh, that's the guy, you know.

Check shooter.

All of a sudden, you have one guy that all he's doing is trying to protect Darren Harris because he can shoot a shot from anywhere on the floor with just a moment's notice.

And then all of a sudden, you turn around and the ball's in a net because you opened up so much space that someone else was able to make a play.

I think not necessarily vital for the success, but it absolutely makes us a more dangerous basketball team, even more dangerous than I think we are right now.
