It feels like it's just some kind of feeling that envelops you, that you're like, oh, this is about to happen.
This right here is about to become a blowout because we're hitting threes.
And so it's just great to see that happen.
And hopefully, again, we'll need that shooting from everyone, from Cam all the way down to Darren.
If guys are on their threes, we're a tough team to beat.
I want to combine Pat because, like you said, he did well with Malik Brown because, again, Malik coming off the bench and when either of those two in the game, they were largely effective in shutting down Virginia.
Malik was 7 points, 5 rebounds, 1 assist, and 3 steals, and 47.5 deflections.
I stopped counting at a certain point.
But I also think with Pat, he's learning a lot from Malik in how to affect โ
Shots without fouling.
You know, we've had some difficulty sometimes with him being in foul trouble.
But yesterday, I thought he was very good at putting his hands up and saying, hey, you're going to have to shoot over this to get anything.
And it's almost funny.
It's almost like he learned a little bit from battling Mara against Michigan and Lindbergh and Morris Johnson, who are really good at affecting guys without actually blocking shots all the time.
And I think he's bit by bit getting better in that regard.
And as you saw, there's been times this year where he brings his hands up, and as the guy shoots, he kind of starts to do a blocking motion, which every time is going to get called for a foul if you don't block the shot.
This time around, he's keeping his hands up.
He's staying square.
And I think people are realizing, oh, when 6'11 Pat Gomba stands straight up and puts his hands up in the air,
I have to shoot like 13 feet in the air to get it over him.
