postgame notes.
Isaiah Evans mentioned the 2001 national champions being there.
They were honored at halftime.
And he mentioned that nobody wants to lose in front of them.
And they did what we're trying to do, win a national championship.
And so we were trying to impress them a little bit.
Well, they weren't really impressing them in the second half.
I'm sure in the first half, there was a lot to be said about the defense.
But in the second half, it just felt like they didn't put the game away when they had a chance to.
Cam Boozer also said after the game, he said, quote, when we get leads and we get kind of comfortable and we've got to find a way to figure that out, we've got to figure out what we do when we get leads because we're not handling it well right now, end quote.
It's not even for me.
Yes, I like me.
I'm the fan of the blowouts.
I would love I would love to beat every team by 40.
I don't care about close games and and how what they may do to help you learn.
We're getting a lot of them this year because we're just not we're not figuring out how to handle leads.
And even if it's holding guys at arm's length, there's several games where you kind of go, hey, we're up 10.
By the next TV timeout, we should be up 10.
And at the TV timeout after that, if we're up 10, if they're doing all they can to get back in this game and we're just saying, nope, nope, nope, game's done, that's fine.
