I mean, calm is not the right way to describe it.
Was he in control?
Absolutely.
Was he passionate about defending his team and his staff?
Absolutely.
And his family even more so.
I know that's kind of what you were going with, but I want to make that clear that it wasn't that he came in and calmly said,
oh, well, you know, our guys were hit, but, you know, it's going to be fine.
He was passionate about it.
He wanted to make sure it was known that that was not okay, that this was not what the rivalry is about.
It's not what any game should be about.
And the fact that UNC's AD came out and apologized in spite of people saying that, oh, this wasn't true, he came out and immediately apologized because he knew it was true.
He saw some of the video that you and I have seen, Jason, out there about
Bottles being thrown at players and just the overall unsafeness of what happened, not once but twice.
It should be noted that UNC was fined for it.
They weren't fined twice.
Correct.
But they were fined once for it, the $50,000 for a first offense at the ACC happens.
And like we kind of talked about, it does not go to Duke.
So it's not like we're made whole by this, but it's more of a, hey, at least something happened here.
