And I think this is really important.
So it's important to understand the ways that we're different, but then to understand what we're going to do with that, you need to understand the context of where the friction comes from.
Is it that I'm sensitive and the world bears down on me and I need to kind of work out how to navigate that?
am i someone that is still grieving five or six years normally by the way after the passing my mother and the world expects me to move on am i someone that is having their life wrecked by alcohol and yet you've been given this thing and it's odd thing that happens with alcohol here's this toxic poisonous thing that you're given at 15 now what you must be able to do is enjoy it drink responsibly and make sure that no matter what happens you have fun and don't cause any problems while consuming it
And yet it's a really toxic and poisonous thing.
And when you're not able to handle it and you become addicted or it wrecks your life, you're the problem.
But of course you're not.
You're not the problem.
The problem is the drink.

The people that have read it so far, obviously journalists get to read it early before its release.
Many of them have messaged me separately afterwards and said they've never felt more seen.
than they have reading that book.
That's what I want to happen for people who are asking themselves that question, am I normal to feel seen?
And then to be able to give them the kind of confidence to do something with that.
This is not a self-help book.
This is a smart thinking book, I guess what they call it, but this is a critical book of normality.
I'm very critical of what that means.
I'm very honest and raw about it.
And it's not actually a book just for neurodivergent people.
