And then any, particularly with the vulva, and I keep going back to this because vulval cancer is one of the least talked about cancers, I think there is.
And I know we're going to do another episode on the gynecological cancers.
But if you've got an itchy lesion that isn't healing around your vulval area,
please just get it checked.
Get it checked so we can have a look at it and we might need to take a sample from it, but we'd rather just reassure you that it's nothing than something.

But hygiene, fungal infections are the most common causes of itchy kind of genital areas.
Yeah, I guess there is.
So underwear should be breathable.
It should allow a bit of air to get in there and aerate things and keep things fresh, right?
And stop kind of moisture collecting in places.
And people ask things like, oh, can I wear a nylon thong?
If a nylon thong works for you and it doesn't make you itchy, it doesn't get you sore and it causes you no problems, then that's fine.
But if you are wearing nylon thongs, and nylon isn't a breathable material, and that it is causing you itchiness down there, it is causing you sweat to collect and infections to gather, then it's not for you.
I'm not going to tell you to stop wearing it because it's not causing you any problems.
But on a kind of population level, I would say more breathable fabrics are better.

Nothing too tight, nothing too hot, everything breathable.
