So we need to get any growth checked, particularly after the menopause.

And I know we say that for breasts a lot, know your normal and get any abnormalities checked because breast cancer is far more common than vulvar cancer.
But it should all be part and parcel of the same thing.
Get a mirror out, have a look at your vulva and get any changes checked.
Honestly.
And vulval cancer, when caught early, like any cancer, is treatable.
If it's not caught early, it's far more difficult to treat.
Genital itchiness is caused by lots of different things.
So thrush is a really common one, a fungal infection.
And lots of women will have had thrush, men less so.
But it's a fungal infection that causes an itchy white discharge from the vulval and vaginal area.
But even sweat in the folds of the skin of the vulva or in your groin can attract a different type of fungal infection, but it can be itchy as well.
If you've got an itchy bottom area, like an anal area, which is really common, I know this is difficult to hear, but one of the most common causes for that is just poor hygiene.
And you've got to wash your bottom regularly.
Yeah, and I know you'll all be thinking, well, that's not me, but it could be you.
Just wash your bottom after you poo.
Right.
