So when we talk about gut health, we're probably looking at two things all at the same time.
It's how well your bowels are moving and how good your stool consistency is.
You shouldn't have to push hard.
It shouldn't come out like water.
It should be a nice, easy to get out poo.
A nice, easy, consistent
and and it'll be different for everyone so some people may go three times a week some people may go three times a day if that's normal for you so whatever's normal for you is normal for you as long as it's not changed it's not hard it's not soft
So that's one aspect of it.
The other aspect is the gut microbiome itself and how healthy that is.
You should have a good range, a good diversity of microbes there, all helping you digest different foods.
Every bit of food you digest, particularly the plants, will be helped by a different microbe.
And so having a diversity there is really good for your gut health.
Like a bacteria?
I like to think of it as a garden that you are looking at.
I love a garden.
I love a garden.
So it's like, you know, you're looking after your garden and you want to keep a good variety of meadow flowers in there.
You don't want just like one single weed taking over everything.
Yeah.
So you're feeding your gut bacteria.
