The smallest one is called a virgin speculum.

And then there's a bigger one, which I can't remember the name of.

So you can ask for the smallest size if you want to.

So you do need a longer one, something that can push your whatever down to get to the cervix.

I would also say one of the biggest things I get told because I work in Bradford, so it's very culturally diverse.

And on the front of lots of women that I see on what we call their home screen, which is a screen that comes up with lots of reminders on.

is overdue smear, overdue smear, overdue smear.

And so I'll say to them, you know, do you want me to book you in for your cervical screening because it says here you haven't had it for a number of years?

And they'll say, well, no, I've only had one sexual partner because culturally they're only married and then they, you know, they have that one sexual partner.

It doesn't have to be culturally, it could just be what's happened.

Honestly, even if you've had one sexual partner, you don't think you've been exposed to HPV, you could have.

Remember, it doesn't take penetration actually to get exposed to HPV.

It can just be touching.

But also, you don't know how many sexual partners he's had.
