And when you heat the skin to a certain temperature, essentially it's 42 degrees Celsius on the surface, that will create contraction of that collagen and it creates a tightening of the skin, the way I describe it, it's like a shrinking of the skin essentially. And right now, that's the gold standard. There are other ways that you can create tightening.
There's a device called Ultherapy that uses ultrasound energy, but it's quite painful. Right now, that gold standard would be RF microneedling. So now you're in your 40s, your 50s,

you're doing your retinol, you're doing your peptides, you're doing your red light therapy, you're noticing the skin's a little bit loose, you want to do something more aggressive, you're okay spending a little bit of money, you know, you're going to spend at least $500, maybe up to $1,000 for an RF microneedling treatment, and you're okay with a day or two of downtime, then that's when the RF microneedling can definitely come into play.

So if the RF microneedling isn't quite getting where you want to be, and now you're saying, let's say you're in your 50s, maybe early 60s, and the skin is starting to sag a bit. So you're starting to actually notice that the skin is loose. It's not basically snapping back into place. Now you want to be more aggressive. There are some minimally invasive surgical procedures that you can consider.

There are two devices, one's called Renuvion and one is called FaceTite, where essentially, you know, I talked to you about how RF microneedling heats the deeper skin by putting those little needles in the skin, those little needles at the tip of that needle emits radiofrequency energy. And so you're essentially heating the skin from the outside in.

Well, you can also heat the skin from the inside out. And so there are these minimally invasive surgical procedures. They look kind of like very small liposuction cannulas where you numb up the area with local anesthetic, make a small incision, and you basically put this cannula underneath the surface of the skin, and it basically heats the skin from the inside out. That is surgery.

It's minimally invasive. There's minimal scars with that. Oftentimes it's done under a local anesthetic. And the idea is that you get even more heating of that skin to cause that skin to essentially shrink. Once again, the two brands, I don't do these, are Renuvion and FaceTite. I don't do them because there's still a question of just how much you get out of it.

My understanding is that some people can get quite a bit of tightening of the skin and other people, it can be a bit disappointing. But that's the next step. And I'll tell you, Drew, there's a very interesting device right now that makes a lot of sense, but I don't think it's quite ready. Not ready to the point where I would 100% recommend it. And this is called a non-cutting facelift.
