Well, they are very, very similar and they work essentially the same way, but there are very small differences.
And it's always interesting to know why your injector is choosing a certain brand and what they're trying to achieve with it.
Like how many did you just roll up?
So we've got six approved in Australia.
And, you know, even anti-wrinkle isn't a great term to use for the group anyway, because they do so much more than anti-wrinkle.
And so we usually use the term neurotoxin or botulinum toxin injections or neuromodulators even.
I need my neurotox, babe.
Yeah, I need my neurotox.
I need a tox.
So they're referring to this group of botulinum A toxins.
So basically, we all know of tetanus.
We get vaccinated for tetanus.
And tetanus is the clostridium bacteria which produces multiple types of botulinum toxins.
And one of them, which is botulinum type A, is produced by this bacteria.
And it is responsible for blocking the signal that goes from your nerve ending to your muscles and stopping that muscle from contracting.
So if you got a Clostridium bacteria infection... Like a tetanus, like if you stand on a rusty nail.
Yeah, or you got tetanus, then what happens is that you get overwhelmed by this toxin in your body, but multiple different types, and it literally paralyzes you.
And that's how, well, no, it does wear off, as we know.
So this is how they've worked out, oh, I'm going to use this for other uses.
You would have to be on a ventilator for months until it wore off if you were infected, truly infected.
