And he was saying in his school, it was a very homophobic environment and gay was often a term of abuse.
And he was really honest.
He said he feels bad to this day that he joined in.

And that's not that long ago.
He's only in his 30s.
But he didn't come out, interestingly, till after he stopped playing GAA because he also said that wasn't an environment where he felt, you know, the dressing room and all that, where he could be comfortable saying I'm gay.
So we kind of sometimes say things about it being the bad old days.
Yeah, yeah.
But there is a continuation to now that it is still challenging for people sometimes.
Not everybody.
Some people feel much more comfortable with it.
And I know that.
And that's a positive thing.
For sure, a positive thing.
