It disrupts the dynamic with their children because their children have to kind of recalibrate in their minds a little bit.

As you say, it shouldn't make any difference.

And I can say hand on heart, it made no difference to me in terms of my daughter.

And actually,

I forget about it quite a lot because she's just Ella.

She's just my daughter whom I love.

Do you know what I mean?

So it's not like I think about her any differently.

I loved her before she told me, I loved her after she told me and...

I don't actually think much about her sexuality.

So what I just think about is her as a kind of a holistic person.

And so it's like that.

But I think people are terrified.

And that's one of the things that keeps them back of disrupting all those dynamics and disrupting those relationships and disrupting the view that they think that other people have of them and that perhaps they hold dear to themselves because they've constructed that.

That reality.

And they've obviously constructed it in the image of whatever they want to be perceived as.

And that's very challenging.

And it takes a degree of bravery or perhaps desperation because you can't go on.

No, you can't.

It's unsustainable.
