Okay.
Um, and you know, it's, it's a mixture, uh, it's a popular science book, so it's, you don't have to have any kind of.
background in science or psychology to, to read it and understand it.
Um, but it's written as kind of a part, part of, part of it is, uh, summarizing some of the work I've done.
And part of it is, um, crazy ideas I've had about morbid curiosity that I haven't had the chance to investigate yet.
So it's a bit of a, a bit of a sort of state of the art, what we know about morbid curiosity and people who are morbidly curious.
And then part of it is also, um,
what we might learn if we look into these other things related to Morbid Curiosity.
Um, yeah, I would love for, you know, if you, if you loved everything we've talked about so far, you would probably love the book.
You would probably have a sub stack where I also write about a lot of these ideas before they get published or before they go into something like a book called morbidly curious thoughts.com.
Um, probably enjoy that as well.
Uh, yeah.
And I would love to talk to you if you have ideas.
One of the cool things about what I study is that almost everybody has had some sort of weird morbidly curious experience or weird thoughts about, um,
morbid curiosity and i get emails and messages all the time of people uh telling me i guess either the experience they had and how you know something they read help that i'd written helped them understand that or um maybe they haven't found an answer for why they feel a certain way about something and they're curious if it might be because they're morbidly curious and yeah i would love to hear all the crazy stories you have because
make for they they sometimes help me actually come up with new ideas right because sometimes the story is is an experience that someone has is uh you know a very unique window into the human mind and human experience and sometimes it's something that that i haven't heard before and um i mean that's how i got onto the topic of studying anxiety as it relates to horror i started hearing a lot of stories from people that
well i i am a horror fan but i'm very anxious and actually horror helps me with my anxiety and that's actually what got me to study that was that i started hearing all these anecdotes about it and i thought well there must be something to this so we'll put all those links uh in the bio of our podcast colton thank you so much for your time today sure thank you it was fun chat
