Someone at a conference went up to ask a question to the scientist doing all the research on this, and they kind of knocked on the microphone and they said, you know, I think you guys are looking at the wrong mouse. The treatment, like you've experienced it, is super comfortable. You just basically sit there with an IV in your arm, and your blood is removed like about 200 cc's at a time, so it's a small volume, put through this giant centrifuge. The plasma is separated from the red blood cells.

Red blood cells go back into you through the same IV or a different IV, and then you get a big bag of plasma that's basically thrown away. And inside of that, we've basically eliminated one entire plasma volume of all of these negative factors that have been built up over time.
