Now, some people will take things like N-acetylcysteine and feel dramatically better, have more energy, and their inflammation goes down quickly.
that's a sign that they were severely depleted.
But most people won't notice a big difference.
But it can have a lot of protective roles with them.
So as far as supplements go, it's one of the top ones you should consider.
Most of the dosages people make are just literally made up.
We don't know.
There's some room for experimentation.
You're not going to overdose on N-acetylcysteine.
You might have to experiment.
Typical dosage for N-acetylcysteine are 500 to 2,000 milligrams a day.
There's no one out there doing these long-term studies going, okay, 500 versus 750 versus 1,000.
The ones that are done that way in animal studies and human studies where they see breakdown, it's very clear.
The higher the antioxidant, the more protection it is.
There is a point that kind of balances out, but it varies at different times for various mechanisms.
So if you're taking acetylcysteine 500, 2,000 milligrams a day, if you're taking glutathione, it depends if it's like oral glutathione or liposomal glutathione.
You can always start with the manufacturer recommendation that's in the back and then play around with the dose.
It's not something that you'd have to worry about overdosing on.
It's basically just sulfur amino acids.
Well, I for sure noticed for myself, I'm getting my whites coming in.
