Well, I appreciate it because I'll tell you what, I was mortified.

I went on a radio show one night and was talking to young people.

They'd never heard of HIV and AIDS.

Their health problems were all about drugs and alcohol and horrible choices in their relationships and their reproductive health.

Teen pregnancy, you may remember, was out of control at the time.

STIs were out of control, but AIDS was coming on strong.

And that was the thing that mortified me more than anything.

And as a young physician, I spent a lot of time working on AIDS.

and AIDS patients.

And we're the last remaining witnesses to the horrible loss of that period.

These wonderful men were just being just, it was the most horrible thing you can imagine.

And there's no one, very few people around to tell the tale anymore.

So I'm sure you saw the study out of Finland a couple of days ago.
