Because if there's things happening, absolutely, you can end up with depression.
Absolutely.
Um, I, so with the depression, it can, mattresses can drag up old stuff.
So if you've had depression in the past, it can really bring it up.
If you've had anxiety in the past, it can really bring it up.
If you've had OCD in the past, it can really, trauma.
Because the threat system is on.
The threat system is switched on.
The last time the threat system was switched on, there was trauma happening.
The body can't tell the difference between that trauma 20 years ago and what we're going through right now.
All it knows is that there's danger.
And when threat system is on, you become hypervigilant, you become anxious, you develop panic attacks.
