Because it was happening right then, that all of the information I was giving them was
a new version or a version that I believe right at this moment.
You know, when you present PowerPoints, it's just too easy not to use the same PowerPoints and to, you know, you don't want to think things through.
So you're innovating things.
You're adding to it.
And so I enjoyed it more than any other class I taught.
Well, I think that what we need to do, and people, there's data, not mine, that shows trying not to think about something is totally ineffective.
It always comes back.
But so what you want to do is not try not to think about it, but to think about it differently.
Interpret it differently.
And your feelings will be based on your interpretations.
you know so that for me the fire you know was not the scary thing it you know so i lost something so who cares right um and then i got all of this uh attention this uh feeling of the goodness of stranger community yeah yeah and so it it's not a scary thing for me
So if we open up our minds and see that no matter what we're experiencing, there are multiple ways of understanding it.
There is no one way of looking at it.
And that's what we do when we're being mindless.
And then it lends itself to, again, all sorts of possibilities.
It occurs to me that we only talked about the counterclockwise study.
