If we were to correct for carbohydrate intake, I think we can put the body in somewhat of a safety space where we can really begin to, number one, stop chasing blood sugar regulation, and number two, really begin to focus on and prioritize protein.

yes that is absolutely true if calories are controlled that it makes a lot of sense but the average american eats between 500 and a thousand more calories than the resting energy expenditure requirement and so in an ideal world when you know you're in a metabolic ward or something like that i used to work in one everything is controlled they are in a bed watching tv getting their food delivered

So, but the reality is if we, I mean, we could duplicate anything in science, in a clinical study or a trial or a laboratory, but in real life and faced with food choices, most people are over-consuming everything.
