And that's what creates this imbalance of your metabolic health.
The first part, and hopefully you guys haven't turned me off yet and haven't decided that this is too cumbersome of a scientific conversation because it's really important.
And if you want to age well, the most important thing that you can understand is how does your muscle work?
And when you go to the doctor and your doctor says you have high blood sugar, what does that mean for you?
That means that your activity and your diet are not mismatched for your body fat.
because you don't have any control over fat.
It's not the primary stop point or end point, but it's muscle.
And when you are rest, your muscle burns primarily fatty acids, fats, and when you move...
you then create this transition to utilizing carbohydrates.
And then the protein aspect, the body, regardless of muscle, is always rebuilding and regenerating.
I mean, the body regenerates four times a year.
You have a whole new body four times a year, and that's where protein efficiency and aging and dietary protein come in.
We can recreate ourselves.
The efficiency at using these proteins decrease as we age.
And that's why I wrote the playbook.
The playbook tells you exactly how to arrange a diet and nutrition plan
visually what it should look like so that you can support healthy aging with the understanding that once you get muscle right, everything else falls into place.
Muscle is the organ of longevity and is your primary beginning point and end point.
One of the things that I'd recognized after seeing patients, I've been seeing patients for over 10 years, is there is a drastic difference between those that end up reaching their goals
in their health and wellness goals and just their overall health goals and in life.
