I have always grown up very interested in fitness.
I come from a very physically active family, which is really important as we think about kids that there's no reason children shouldn't be lifting weights.
By the time I was five, I was doing 10-mile bike rides.
We have physical constraints on our children, but we don't think twice when they're sitting at the airport eating Cheetos and on an iPad.
I have always been extremely physically active.
My dad was a collegiate athlete.
My sister is also an extraordinary athlete.
and I've always been very interested.
What women need to understand is the earlier you start, the easier it is, and the easier it is going to be to maintain, and it's never too early to start.
My children, they lift weights.

have a much less likelihood of getting cardiovascular disease or having metabolic dysfunction.
And I think that women have to recognize that it's never too early to start and it's never too late to start.
And frankly, once you get into a good groove, it's easy.
It is.
And it's the way of the future.
And there's nothing wrong with the Jane Fonda workouts.
