You have heart disease, you do this.
Versus the root cause of all these problems, let's just say, is underlying metabolic health, poor metabolic health.
The underlying issue for poor metabolic health is not fat, it's muscle.
We address muscle and the rest, the downstream effect happens, which is then amazing.
And then we can all do jump ropes and all the squat jumps that you hate.
But when it comes to what are the activities that we have to do, I think it's not the movements.
It's rather the patterns that we have to maintain.
We need to be able to get up out of a chair, get up off the ground, be able to carry things, put things overhead.
Therefore, do I think, and people could argue with this is probably a personal opinion, I need to see my patients having lower leg strength.
If you want to get lower body strength from doing plyometrics, from doing squat jumps, from doing weighted squats, you choose.
But I need you to do a lower body strength movement.
