It's easier for patients.
I think patients are more accepting also of a PNE.
You say...
We can do a test.
We'll do it in the office.
If it works, then we'll take you to the ambulatory surgery.
And if it doesn't work, we'll talk about other options.
I think it's a better way to get the patient in the door for this.
A lot of times if they hear they have to go to the ambulatory surgery center for, you know, under sedation, they may not want to do that.
And then I tell the patients, honestly, if you do a percutation or evaluation that works, you're going to want it.
I'm sure you've had patients like me where you do like that three-day test and they come back and they beg you not to pull out those temporary wires because it's working so well.
Those patients want to be booked ASAP for a full implant.
You said Medicare requires prior auth.
In your state, are you part of the WISER audits?
I think WISER is a program for Medicare now requiring prior authorization.
Is it for all procedural intervention for overactive blood?
Right.
I mean, right now, I think it's a pilot program in six states.
New York, we don't have to deal with that.
But I have a feeling it's something that may be coming down the line if it's being piloted in six states.
