But trauma memory stays in your head in a different way from non-traumatic memories.
Yes.
I can't remember every day getting up, cleaning my teeth, having a bath or whatever.
But I can tell you enormous items that happened because they were traumatic.
And my alters just took those memories and they hold them sacred.

I mean, if you ask us...
to visualise the house.
We don't have to visualise it.
We can go inside and we can look and it'll be sitting here as real as you are.
And then it's easy.
Oh, but the kitchen's here, the bedroom's there.
In the documentary, they...
showed multiple times us going into my dad's bedroom.
And that was a very scary place for us.
But when we did the walkthrough, we'd only been in that house as a child, and we were a child's height.
When we went into that room as an adult, it hit me.
It felt like the room reached out and slapped me across the face because I finally understood a thing that had puzzled me my whole life.
