I live in Queensland.

Now, the way that the rape crisis was funded, they could only provide support to New South Wales residents.

I couldn't use them because I lived in Queensland.

But the Queensland support agencies, their funding is for abuse that took place in Queensland.

What we need is an acknowledgement that offenders move and they do it quite deliberately because you have to go back to the jurisdiction where it happened if you want justice.

So if you've lived in 15...

places, you've got to go and you're potentially looking at 15 trials.

And so there's not a consistent support.

We need nationwide support services that can say, you're in Queensland.

It happened in Tasmania.

We will support you.

We'll link you in because you've got to go to Tasmania for the trial.

We'll link you in with agencies that can help you because everybody that had said they would help me.

And this led to Jenny.
