So the right hemisphere is right here, right now, emotion and connected to all that is because I don't have that boundary of where I begin and where I end because that's in that left hemisphere.
So we access these parts of ourselves, the right emotion when we are experiencing something.
I come from Indiana.
We're big basketball, of course.
What does it feel like when you're getting ready to do a layup?
That feeling of lift.
yourself up into the air, throwing that ball, the movement, the calculation of the brain, of the arc that you have to make with that ball in order to get it to go into the basket.
So it's the experience of being.
And then the right thinking is, oh my gosh, I'm alive.
And in this sense of, oh my gosh, I'm alive, is this incredible gratitude of, wow, I'm alive.
And there are people here with me who love me.
And it feels like love.
And I listened to a podcast where you were speaking about how close you were to your father.
And when your father was ill and he had to go into the hospital, your heart reached,
him, and his love reached you, even though you couldn't be in the same space with one another.
And it is in that right thinking consciousness where we are beyond the limitations of ourselves, and we are enveloping one another in this feeling of deep love.
So the right hemisphere is right here, right now.
And then the left hemisphere, it's not right here, right now.
These cells in the emotional system step literally out of the consciousness of the present moment.
So I can say to you, Hala, Hala, what did you have for dinner last night?
