He says, doc, there's no way I'm going to do this.
I said, sir, I've done this before, you will.
He says, look, I bet you a hundred dollars, I won't.
I said, sir, you don't have to pay me, but we've done this, everything.
You're only in your sixties and you will.
He said, no, I won't.
I said, okay, fine, a hundred dollars.
I bet you a hundred dollars, you will memorize a hundred words.
And in 12 weeks.
So then he went to start our program, obviously at obesity and a lot of acid metabolic things, and he started to work.
And in five weeks along the way, I was in between patients.
He said, doc, can I talk to you for a minute?
I said, sure, come in.
He put a hundred dollar bill and slap on the desk.
He said, doc, I can't believe it.
I memorized a hundred words and this is the best hundred dollars I ever give anyone.
I said, sir, thank you very much.
I don't take the money.
He insisted.
I said, fine, we'll just get money.
