Now, doctors have traditionally treated PTSD in veterans with antidepressants known collectively as SSRIs.
Almost 90% of vets have been treated with an SSRI, but the results are not very good for some of these more severe conditions like PTSD.
So given the magnitude of the problem, we owe it to our nation's veterans to move with a sense of urgency in evaluating these products known as psychedelics.
We are now going to the next level of chemicals that affect the foods that children commonly consume.
