Like it is too dangerous, but I think a lot of people are getting their medications from doctors who don't understand this, who aren't trained, who are just trying to make a quick buck at these med spas.
And I really caution patients like, okay,
The long-term consequences are real if you don't do this properly.
Oh, and it should scare the hell out of you.
I mean, you are a fair, blonde, you know, like thin.
I look at your arms, you know, like you're high risk.
I don't know if your mother's fractured, your grandmother is.
So like my mother and my grandmother had multiple osteoporotic fractures and were miserable from pain.
I am not interested in that being my reality.
So I am so focused on weightlifting and protein intake.
Like everything I do is to be strong, not thin.
And that is the kind of the message we try to talk to our patients about.
So, so,
Everybody can have a little sugar, okay?
And the rule of thumb is 25 grams of added sugar per day.
And you're not gonna get yourself into trouble.
So you get, that's your budget.
You get to decide what you spend that on, okay?
When you go above that, you start risking increasing inflammation.
So women who limit their added sugars to 25 grams a day or less don't have excessive visceral fat.
