Okay, so who gets HRT?
So if you are a woman,
who is obviously not had a period for at least a year, you are considered post menopause.
That's the definition.
If you have gotten, if your last period was over a year ago, you have now crossed over post menopause.
Okay.
And if you're suffering from symptoms like hot flashes, night sweats, brain fog, a mood changes.
Um, Oh gosh.
Um, sometimes it's like dry skin and itchiness and, um,
There's sexual complaints, vaginal dryness, itching, recurrent UTIs, poor sleep.
Sleep is a big one, like sleep interruptions, like go down the list.
Then you are likely could be a candidate of HRT.
There are very few people who absolutely cannot get HRT.
OK, if you have breast cancer or have had breast cancer, then potentially you can't get it.
I say potentially because if you've had it, you might actually be able to still get it, believe it or not.
But if you actively are getting treated for breast cancer, you probably are not somebody who should get HRT.
That's that is about it.
The way we do HRT can be safe for people who have had blood clots, can be safe for people who who even smoke.
It can be safe for even older menopause.
Now, this perimenopause group, that's a big word right now.
