And Dupixent, you give them one or two injections and the eczema goes away or it gets 90% better.
So people, for example, I had a patient, a gentleman at the time was in his late 30s, had terrible eczema, couldn't sleep, couldn't get through the day, very uncomfortable, a lot of itching.
He was coming into the office every few weeks.
And we were giving him all the topicals and it helped, but it never really controlled him.
And we would see him at least every few weeks, at least once a month.
We gave him, this new medicine came out, Dupixent.
We gave him one injection and it cleared.
And he stayed on that medicine.
or I've retired from practice, but we didn't see him.
We had him come in once a year just for a general check and he was doing fine.
This is an ongoing treatment that you inject every few weeks and you inject yourself kind of the way a diabetic would inject insulin.
And yes, you have to monitor these patients.
And there are some side effects that can happen
none of them really serious, but you have to monitor these people.
