Hello, everyone.
My name's Narit Rosenblum.
I'm here as a moderator.
I am a professor of urology and obstetrics and gynecology at NYU Langone Medical Center in New York.
I'm also co-director of the Urogynecology Fellowship that we run.
And I have two friends and colleagues here with me today to talk about vaginal rejuvenation.
Dr. Karen Eilber works at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles.
She is also professor of urology and obstetrics and gynecology.
She's chair of the Cedars-Sinai Department of Surgery and chair of the Cedars-Sinai Well-Being Committee.
And she's also recently become a certified menopause practitioner at the Menopause Society.
Our second guest today is Dr. Arianna Smith.
Arianna is the Chief of Urology at Pennsylvania Hospital in Philadelphia.
She's the Alan J. Wien Professor of Urology and the Director of Urogynecology and Reconstructive Pelvic Surgery.
And I welcome both of you to talk about vaginal rejuvenation.
Thanks, Noreet.
I would open up by just asking you a question I get asked by a lot of patients.
What exactly is vaginal rejuvenation?
Agreed.
And I think the biggest sort of confusion that I see kind of going along the lines of what you both said is, is this a medical procedure that in our field improves quality of life or is it cosmetic?
Is it covered by insurance?
