I think to be prepared is always a good idea.
You're never quite sure what the next month is going to bring.
However, as they, in that report, acknowledged, there's no clear path to those shortages really arising based on the current conflict.
So yes, preparedness is always wise, but I don't think it's something we should be really kind of
worrying too much about in terms of shortages in the supermarket in the uk and ireland i think as i say it's more about and as your last contributor mentioned as well it's more about affordability um to pick out one of the things that he was talking about as well is you know we do need to be a little bit careful about um going too far the other way you know we can be producing more of our food domestically but that obviously gives rise to to other lack of resilience in terms of you know if we have um
extreme weather events that affects us domestically, then obviously we actually lose some resilience in terms of kind of being more reliant on international markets.
So there's a balance here and it's kind of good to have not all your eggs in one basket, be they international or domestic.
