I think they miss a lot of people that might actually be supportive.

I don't think that transgender athletes can compete with the biological women.
That doesn't mean that I have anything against the overall concept.
It's just athletically I think that's a bad idea.

It says, the phrase could have anti-Semitic roots.
Rioters in Europe sometimes shouted HEP HEP, H-E-P, H-E-P, while on prowl for Jews.
And mob harassment of Jews in Hamburg, Frankfurt, and other German cities in 1819 became known as the HEP HEP riots.
Hitler's stormtroopers adopted this jeer.
We're picking the wrong battles.
If somebody's cheering somebody on for a good thing, that seems like a long stretch back to 1819.
