I wanted to bring this up. Because you were thinking the road to Emmaus in Luke 24. I was thinking later on in Luke 24. Remember when he showed them his hands and his feet? This is in verse 40. And while they still didn't believe... Because of joy and amazement, because they're looking at a guy who is dead, and he's like, look at my hands and my feet.
