And you do have this section in your book entitled, Labels Are Your Limits.
You've touched on this a little bit already, but I really wanna explore this topic because I think labels, as you can call them, diagnoses if you want through the lens of health, can be a double-edged sword.
They can be liberating and empowering, or they can be entrapping.
So can you speak to this idea?
Because I think it's a, particularly for my audience, I think this is huge.
Exactly, exactly.
You would actually probably really enjoy, there's a book called The Age of Diagnosis by the neurologist, the British neurologist, I think she's British.
Was she Irish?
I can't remember now.
The neurologist, Dr. Suzanne O'Sullivan, she came on the show maybe a year ago or so.
And she writes a whole book on this topic of, you know, the age of diagnosis in which we're living.
But Suzanne asks the question, or Suzanne thinks one way we can look at this is to ask ourselves, is the diagnosis helping me?
I think it's beautifully simple.
It might be that actually you've spent 10 years struggling with your health, not knowing what you have, and then finally someone gives you a diagnosis and that feels, you know, I knew it.
I knew I had something.
You know, it feels very reassuring, you know, and it may help you access certain treatments.
And also beware because certain diagnoses can become a new prison for you to live in.
And you see everything in the world through that belief.
Lies can become reality.
