It does seem artifactual.
But it would be very interesting if they followed up with more and different researchers, people, and see if it's consistent.
So yeah, before we speculate too much on why this is, we have to prove that it is an actual phenomenon.
And we're not there yet with this one study.

This is, again, one of those ones we have to keep on our radar, either positive or negative.

But there's really two stories here.
The first story is about the outbreak itself, which is happening in the DRC, the Democratic Republic of Congo, also in Uganda.
It is a species of Ebola, the Bundibugio species, which is a rarer one.
