I know that sounds really one-sided, but I promise you, until I started prescribing hormones to women and men and seeing the actual results and outcomes and sometimes side effects and et cetera and having to navigate that, it's a very elegant dance.

Now, if you're in a clinical practice where a lot of that's going on and you're seeing it firsthand, great.
You can have an opinion.
But if you're in a clinic where nobody's prescribing anything, just stop.

We have become more educated.
Gen X knows better.
And I'm here to tell you that whether or not you want to do hormones, I'm not trying to tell you that every woman needs to get on hormones.
But I will tell you that as your estrogen leaves the building, your FSH goes up.
And as your FSH goes up, it actually drives the very conditions I'm talking about
that are problematic downstream.
It drives metabolic dysfunction.
It drives a lot of these seemingly mysterious, like, oh, why is this mysteriously hitting middle-aged women?
It might be the FSH elevation due to the declining estrogen.
