Well, the literature on this is really limited.
I have been applying hormones for musculoskeletal pain for decades.
I was not scared off by the Women's Health Initiative.
I was happily prescribing hormones.
I think I was just in a weird little bubble and didn't realize that not every doctor was.
And I can tell you with certainty that I saw hundreds and hundreds of patients, men and women, predominantly women,
come in with crippling musculoskeletal pain, come in with debilitating spinal pain and joint pain, often bilateral.
When it's bilateral, we have a problem.
That's not just wear and tear.
And
generally at some point having some kind of body composition issues.
Like, where did this 15 pounds of weight come from out of nowhere when I changed nothing?
And I would apply hormones to that patient and I would see phenomenal changes.
I would see a lot of tearing of ligaments and tendons.
When you do prolotherapy, you're treating the anthesis point.
The anthesis is where ligament and tendon meet bone.
