Like we want to bring them home and sleep in their own bed.
And that's the other thing.
You get no sleep in a hospital.
You get chronically monitored.
You get woken up all night.
You're usually in a room with other people.
Right now, seeing as my mom had an upper respiratory infection, I didn't need her going in and getting something worse on top of it.
So she didn't want to go.
I'm not the boss of her.
And we got her stable real quick.
All right?
So I'll leave it at that.
But...
It would be ridiculous of me to tell you not to go get help that you need.
You need to either go to urgent care or the ER when you are in the situation.
That's not even a question, in my opinion.
I knew I could get an IV bag in her quickly.
I knew I could get on a plane and get here and get an IV bag in her quickly.
And I knew that IV bag was going to be the critical piece in getting her over the hump.
Had I not been available to do that, I definitely would have insisted she go to the ER.
