And my family, like my daughter grew up and I'm like, let me look at your poop before you flush it because I'm a naturopath and I can tell you a lot about someone's health by looking at their poop.
And I know that probably sounds gross to some of you, but it's really an insight into what's happening in the body.
And urine is a huge one.
And so, I mean, obviously, I mean, that's cardinal, right?
That's kind of my first sign of dehydration is my urine is too dark.
Now, we don't want it super, super light either, but we don't want it that dark and smelly.
And that's when I'm like, oh, I'm dehydrated.
Most people aren't paying attention to that.
And that's why I mentioned the chapped lips and maybe the headache or the dry skin or mouth.
But urine is kind of the first sign, period.
his urine would get dark.
And I was like, dude, you either have liver disease or you are severely dehydrated.
And he would walk around like that until I... I mean, I have to harp on the guy.
I have to really work on him.
It's crazy how much I have to chase that man down to drink fluids and electrolytes.
And with him, when you're exerting yourself physically like that in the hot sun for prolonged periods of time, you really do need electrolytes.
Water alone is not going to cut it.
And so...
With him, we stay on top of that now and it helps so much.
His mood is better.
