But I can't even understand or fathom now β
You know, that shift that even the police sometimes will question.
And it's easy to sit back and romanticise about, you know, they were good in our days and we were harder or harder.
But now, you know, you think, I often wonder actually how many police who join have actually been in a physical fight
before they actually get in to the police.
And then they go in and go, oh, my God, I've got to get into a fight.
But going back to the point, these psychologists are actually in police stations now to try and help police cope through, you know, not post-traumatic stress but stressful situations.
Look, there's heaps of research out to say that boys form relationships around about 13, 14-year-old group, either with a mate or someone of the opposite sex.
So to my way of thinking, that is where you start.
Now, it's going to take a generation for any benefit.
And as we all know, government's not going to invest in anything past an election cycle.
You might not get your license the first time.
But when you're just talking about more laws, so I have a theory, which is not backed up in any academic race.
Yes, doctor.
And I've never mentioned it to anyone other than you three and everyone listening now.
But all the laws that they introduce around hate speech, and look, some of it's really valid.
I'm not arguing that.
But sometimes I think the more laws, as we know, it's not better law.
But I think sometimes the introduction of more laws is having more laws is trying to keep the harmony or community or social cohesion together.
Because everyone becoming more fractured, free speech, because of all the different, you know, internet, the crimes on the internet.
