So it sounds like,
Your brain also influences your gut in these times when you're feeling anxious or stressed or there's a pressure-filled moment, whether it be a test or a sports game.
It's almost like how you think about what's about to happen is influencing the gut or releasing these hormones or whatever
to make you either wanna go to the bathroom or have bloating or gas or whatever it is, right?
It's like- Right, so these people that have chronic gut issues, and it's important, like, so what we just described was the impact of stress, which could be once in a while, right?
We all have that, right?
That's not necessarily a bad thing.
Your body will adapt and adjust, you're okay, right?
But there's also the people that are having it 24 hours a day.
Yeah, it's a lot.
Right, and in many cases, these are the people who have dealt with something that's trauma.
So where the trauma basically like creates a wound in the non-conscious mind.
So you are not thinking about these things, right?
Because you're trying to push it to the side.
Yes.
Because it hurts.
