Were your parents supportive of that?
Or they were just like, hey, chase your dreams?
Or what was that vibe for you?
Because mine was like, yeah, fuck yeah, go for it.
There was never a doubt in my mind that I couldn't grow up to be like The Rock or John Cena because they just supported it.
Maybe they didn't love the idea of their son being a professional wrestler, but they loved me enough to say,
we're not gonna fucking crush your dreams.
Now, when you get older and it doesn't work out, maybe there's a conversation there, right?
But as a young boy, I wanna try and nurture my son's imagination and his dreaming nature of what he can be and what he can become and all that type of stuff.
So I think it does obviously have an impact of the environment you grow up in, the school you go to, the friends you have, the parents you have.
And then it becomes even harder to sort of
figure it out on your own if you don't have that support like I was blessed to have and, you know, things like that.
So I think about that a lot too.
Fair enough.
Pretty good trade off.
But we also I also see sort of the opposite end of the spectrum now in the youth sports department.
It's like there are parents who want it way more than their kids do.
And the amount of pressure they put on them to be the next Bryce Harper.
You got to sign a 15 million dollar contract when you're 17 or else this all wasn't worth it.
